Chicago Heat-Treated Export Pallets

Growing concerns regarding the spread of pests through exported wood packaging materials has resulted in new rules for the treatment of export pallets. A uniform standard, requiring that all wood products must be heated to a core temperature of 56 degrees for no less than 30 minutes is in place. Chicago-based Industrial & Wholesale Lumber’s Heat-Treated Export Pallets are compliant with this standard.

IWL inventories 48”x40”, 4-way Heat-Treated pallets required for export shipments that are compliant with the ISPM-15 standards for wood packaging material. For more information on the ISPM-15 standards, please contact your IWL representative or visit the Timber Products Inspection website.
